Daisy Green

Daisy, beloved pet and family member of Jeff and Tonya Green, passed away January 25, 2025.  Daisy came into our lives on a snowy, icy day in February 2015.  Mom saw online a big, beautiful dog that had been rescued from a “bad situation” and needed a loving forever home.  Mom jumped in the car, slipping and sliding all the way to meet this dog she had already fallen in love with.  If the drive wasn’t bad enough, imagine trying to squeeze a 100 + pound dog into the backseat of an Impala!

Daisy loved farm life!  She watched over her chickens, loved to swim in the pond, and protected all of us from deer and geese!

She loved attention! If you weren’t petting her, she’d use her nose or paw to correct that!  She was such a sweetheart to everyone she met.  She also had a way of using those big brown eyes to beg bones and cheese from dad.  They had their own sweet morning routine.  We don’t know exactly how old Daisy was or what her time before us was like, but we do know that for nearly 10 years, she knew nothing but love.
