Grumpy Joe Nicks

Grumpy Joe, beloved cat of Haley Nicks, died January 26, 2024, from being ran over by a car in the early morning hours after he ran out of the house and after several unsuccessful attempts to catch him.

Grumpy’s first few years of life are a mystery for us, however his journey led him to me in 2021 as I rescued him from someone that passed away and he needed a new forever home. He lit up our lives in more ways than one!  He was definitely one of a kind!

Grump Joe was named after my papaw that passed away, his name was Joe, as I felt the two of them showed identical traits.  My papaw was grumpy and didn’t like to be messed with and Grumpy Joe was the same way.  Grumpy was the cutest, sweetest and regal grump you could have ever met!  He was truly one of a kind kitty and was everyone’s favorite even though he lived up to his name!

Mr. Grumpy went to heaven joining my papaw now and I know those two are having a blast with each other!  Thank you Grumpy for bringing so much love and joy into my world again as when I lost my TOBY there was a huge hole in my heart that you filled that I never imagined could be filled again!

You may be gone but you definitely will never be forgotten!  Life will never be the same here without you, may you rest in peace and get all the kitty treats you so desire!  Until we meet again my furry best friend!                                           #Grumpyjoeflyhighmysweetangel
