It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our precious girl Penny (Sissy Girl). She had the sweetest soul and loved everyone. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. She was more than a pet; she was a best friend. The countless walks we would take will never be forgotten. Whether it was a walk at a park, at the lake, or Ferne Clyffe, they all gave me such good memories. Penny loved splashing around in any form of water whether it was a pond, a lake or even a puddle, her eyes would light up knowing she might get to go swimming. She loved car rides. Seeing her fur blowing in the wind, made me smile because I knew she was enjoying every minute of it. She loved boat riding, playing in the snow, playing with her tug toys, and always demanded the attention of whoever she was around. A dog's soul never truly leaves us. It lives on in the hearts of those it touched. Wherever they run now, may they be free but forever cherished I choose to believe she is running around in heaven, chasing butterflies and splashing and puddles. I can picture it in my mind and it makes me smile.
