Tank Pentecost

With broken hearts, we share that Tank suffered a stroke and had to be laid to rest. He was not just a pet; he was the joy of our lives, our constant companion, and a cherished member of our family. For 13 wonderful years, Tank never spent a night away from either Daddy or Mommy, filling our home with love, loyalty, and comfort every single day. He was protective of his family and loved us with his whole heart. His love for the water came from Daddy always including him in the pool and on our beach vacations. Those moments were some of his happiest, and our hearts ache knowing our vacations and everyday lives will never feel the same without him. 

Tank was Daddy’s faithful helper and shadow, following him everywhere he went and never wanting to miss a moment by his side. One of his daily jobs was helping check the garden, a task he took seriously and seemed so proud to do. He also loved his toys beyond measure, and even on his last day, he still had a toy in his mouth, a sweet reminder of the playful spirit we will always remember. Mommy was only number one when Daddy wasn’t around, but that was okay, because being loved by Tank in any way was one of life’s greatest gifts. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved sisters, Harley and Bella, who we know were there to welcome him home. 

Tank leaves behind his sister, Daisy, and his brother, Dallas, along with hearts that will miss him every day. His paw prints are forever on our hearts, and the love he gave us will never fade. He will be deeply missed, endlessly remembered, and forever loved.
